Come Sail Away

A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope, and this is what they said
They said! come sail away, come sail away!
Come sail away with me!
Come sail away, come sail away!
Come sail away with me!

This song has been stuck in my head since yesterday…and I keep playing it over and over again :x

Btw, did I mention I hate being sick?

CD Review: Angels & Airwaves - We Don’t Need To Whisper

What can I say about this CD other than it’s amazing. While some may beg to differ they’re wrong. Tom DeLonge (formerly of Blink-182) definitely tried to show he was more than just some punk rocker and he did. Tom put together one hell of a CD. The CD starts off with an awesome opening song with “Valkyrie Missile” even the intro to that song itself is great. The CD overall is ambient, with that stadium rock feel. You’ll notice some Pink Floyd and U2 influence in there as well. “The Adventure”, “The Gift”, “The War”, and “Good Day” are among my favorite songs on the CD. However, I must note I love the entire CD - All the songs are excellent. I give Tom a lot of props for trying something different and even more credit for succeeding when doing so.

Jeff’s Rating: A+

You Can Call Me Mr. President

November 19th, 2006 by admin

For the past few weeks I’ve been campaigning - I’ve been running for school president. On Wednesday, the speeches were made I went last (how much better does that get, for once my last name pays off - it starts with W ) Anyway, they announced my name the place literally went crazy, everyone was screaming “Jeff!!!!”
“Vote Jeff!!!!” so I felt pretty confident going up there. I started off a little shaky but towards the middle I got into my flow and I was awesome.

Little background details … I got a bunch of my friends to run with me and we started our own party called the Goat Party (of course the goat is our party animal) and we all briefly plugged each other in our speeches and at the end of our speeches would say ‘Vote Goat!’ we even put out flyer’s on people’s desks. Long story short, the goat party swept the election and now we’re all in office and are going to work together to get things done unlike other student governments where no one really likes each other or don’t get along, we will.

So yeah, some of the students actually came up to me and told me that my speech was the best - that made me smile. So here I stand. Mr. President of my school!
